Examples Series and Parallel Network Circuits Problems With Solution
E.g.:-Find the equivalent resistance between A & B.
1.
2.
3.
Solutions:-
1.
This is the example of series connection in which all the resistances are connected in series.
So, the solution is given by:-
RAB=R1+R2+R3+R4=2+5+10+15=32Ω
RAB=32Ω
RAB=R1+R2+R3+R4=2+5+10+15=32Ω
RAB=32Ω
2.
This is the example of parallel combination in which all resistances are connected in parallel.
So, the solution is given by:-
3.
This is the example of mixed types of combination in which both type of connection
i.e., series as well as parallel combination are arranged.
i.e., series as well as parallel combination are arranged.
For solving this type of problem, firstly solved resistance in parallel.
As follows,
As follows,
Now, circuit becomes:-
So,all resistances are connected in series.
Then, addition of all these resistances give the value of RAB.
Then, addition of all these resistances give the value of RAB.
RAB=20+33.33+20=73.33Ω
